Yes, I've joined the world of bloggers. I am guessing that when this posts my blog will not be pretty or creative-looking or eye-catching. That's because I have no idea what I'm doing. I figure I can get some help from my computer-savvy hubby later and he can be my tutor in computer geek world. But for now, since I have a minute, here I am.
I swore I would never do a blog for the following reasons:
1. I thought it would be a cop out for emailing friends, and I considered myself a good enough correspondent.
2. I am completely intimidated by all things computer that involve any kind of creativity or editing skills.
3. I don't really have that much to say.
After spending hours poring over friends' blogs and commenting on them and enjoying their posts, I realized a few things:
1. Blogs are fun.
2. I'm a horrible correspondent and no one ever knows what's going on with me.
3. I feel like having a place to complain about crappy books and promote good movies.
So here I am. Ready to rant and rave and promote!

Hooray! Welcome to the world of blogging! It IS fun! Can't wait to see the pictures! I might be in Utah in Aug. for my 10 yr reunion but the kids and hubby will stay behind if I go. I'll let you know!

Cute! I knew you couldn't resist for much longer. It is fun, you'll see. I'm getting ours published into a book at the end of the year for our family journal.
Welcome! It's pretty much awesome to have a blog. Really cool people do it and now that you've joined us, I'll teach you the secret handshake. It involves a back flip and some hopping up and down so I'll wait until after you have your baby to teach you. Can't wait to read some rants!
Awesome! Looks great so far! We need to see the Dark Knight this week!
YAY!! Welcome to the blogging world! :)
Woo-woo! I glad you've come around. You're going to love it.
Hooray! Now we can talk about our Polygamist neighbors online, and decide who will take them cookies. My friend Ben said he would, if someone made the cookies.
Hey Rach. Welcome to blogging. My friend tried to get me to do a blog for so long that she finally gave up and literally came over and started it for me...and now I'm hooked! Our blog is http://pynefam.blogspot.com/
Please leave a comment when you can. I know a lot of people especially family read my blog but they never leave comments, I hate it! Great to hear from you...can't wait to see your family blog!
Rach!!!
Hows it going? I was so excited when Marg told me about your blog. I have been playing with the idea of creating a blog, but i am still unsure if i really want to do it. Send me some mail some time and tell me what you and Tim are up to.
Take Care!

Hi Rach!
It's been fun reading your blog. I'm impressed. I suppose your generation is naturally savvy about not providing any info like last names or addresses that could lead a kidnapping pervert to your door, or maybe when you join a blog-site they provide a list of "don'ts"? I've been paranoid about providing ANY personal information ever since I initially gave too much info on my school profile. I had thought it would be fun for my students to be able to make some connections with my past. It hadn't occurred to me that the world had access to the info and some people misuse that stuff. (No, I didn't provide my Soc. Sec. number!) Anyway, several months later I read a cautionary article about public profiles and panicked. I couldn't "repent" and edit fast enough.
I really haven't read other's blogs, but this looks fascinating. I look forward to reading yours as well as your family letters on the family web-site.
Uncle Richard
