A request

As you most likely know, "New Moon" is coming out in theaters on Friday.  If you're anything like me, you have been looking forward to it since last November when "Twilight" came out.  I got even more excited when I found out that it was directed by Chris Weitz, who wrote and directed "About a Boy," a fantastic movie that you really should see if you haven't yet.  Here's the problem:  I won't be able to go see it until the day after Thanksgiving, at the earliest.  I would love to see it tomorrow if I could, but things aren't working out so that I can see it until next Friday.  So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wait to tell me what you thought until after then.  PLEASE.  Even if you think I won't really mind, just wait until after I've seen it.  I know this is a lot to ask, but I really hate going to a movie after hearing too much about it.  I was living under a rock with a newborn when "Twilight" came out, and didn't hear much about it first, and I was really glad, because I think I enjoyed it a lot more.  It's kind of like coming up to me and telling me the score to the BYU game I've recorded after I've just asked that no one tells me the score.  Thank you.  Enjoy your night out to see it.  I can't wait to discuss it with you when I get back from watching it.  You know I love to gab, especially about movies.

I was going to write a long and drawn out faux spoiler, but I can't be bothered.... I'm not going to see it for another week or so either, so we'll have to chat then! If you're all going together in CA I'm going to be very jealous. Can Thanksgiving be in Heidelberg next year?

Ashley, if only I could have taken you up on that offer. But I'll be patient and wait it out. Emma, I wish you could be with us. To the rest of you, thanks. You are truly friends.
